Merit Cars presents: 1998 Mercedes-Benz SL500 R129 with AMG package equipment and only 72,000 miles. This attractive roadster is finished in Brilliant Silver Metallic (744) with a Gray leather interior (268), Royal Blue convertible top and matching hardtop. The car has been lowered, giving it a more aggressive stance, and is equipped with desirable AMG components including AMG wheels and AMG side moldings. The paint presents very well from 10 feet and looks very attractive overall. Up close, there are some minor chips and scratches consistent with the age and use of the car. The original gray leather interior is in good condition, with nice seats showing no rips or tears. Mechanically, the car is in very good working condition. The engine starts easily and runs strong. The transmission shifts properly and the car handles very smoothly and steadily. The underside is exceptionally clean. The Royal Blue convertible top is in good condition and operates properly. The matching hardtop is also in good condition. The car comes with a spare wheel and wind deflector. Overall, this is an attractive and desirable R129 SL500 with low mileage, AMG equipment, a great color combination and an aggressive stance. It is a car that is ready to be enjoyed. Price: $11,950
