1971 Volvo P1800E that can be driven as it is or taken to a higher level. The car is in Turquoise/Blue metallic (code 104) with a black interior with brown carpet (code 343-768). It was originally located in South Carolina and was brought to California, where it was restored. The car can be driven as it is. Paint appears to be original and shows age with cracking at many places. Chrome is decent. Interior appears to be largely original. Seats are good. Carpets and headliner are original. The dashboard and door panels have been covered with black Alcantra. Mechanics are in good working order. Odometer shows 35,680 miles which are believed to be original. Recent work includes – new clutch, new master brake cylinder, front brakes refreshed (rebuilt calipers, new rubber hoses), new rotors in the back brakes, new wheel bearings, new shocks, new exhaust, new gas tank, electronic fuel pump, new aluminum radiator and new electronic ignition. Engine has been converted to twin SU carburetors (original fuel injection set up comes with the car). Engine starts easily and runs good. Transmission shifts very well. Wheel bearings are new. (Rear end is noisy and will need some attention). Trunk is very clean and solid. Underside presents well with no signs of serious rust anywhere. Everything works on the car including the overdrive, clock and original radio. Car comes with a spare wheel, original steering wheel and some extra parts.
