1973 Triumph Stag V8 that is nicely presentable as it is. The car is in Old English White with a Chestnut interior (Code 63). It is a very desirable Stag with the larger V8, overdrive, wire wheels, power steering and 2 tops. The car presents well all around. Car was repainted about 20 years ago (originally was Pimento Red # 72) and the paint has recently been touched up. All the chrome is in very good condition - front bumper is new. Interior appears to be original - seats are in good condition and the carpets are clean. The wood on the dashboard and center console is good. Mechanics are in good working order - engine starts easily and runs strong. Transmission shifts smoothly. Recent work includes rebuilt carburetors, new points, rebuilt steering column, rebuilt suspension (both front and back) with new shock absorbers. Trunk is clean. Underside appears to be solid and has recently been painted. Driver-side window motor is not working and the wiper motor is not connected. Both the tops are usable - convertible top (blue) is in good condition and the hardtop is decent. Overall this is a rare Triumph Stag that could be a worthy addition to a collection. Price $14,950.
