Merit Cars presents this beautifully restored 1952 MGTD. Finished in an attractive two-tone green and cream exterior with a matching green interior, this MGTD is one of the most charming British sports cars of the postwar era. The car was comprehensively restored during the 1990s and has been carefully preserved ever since. The previous owner's father acquired the car in 1990, at which time the restoration had already been completed. The MG was subsequently enjoyed sparingly and spent much of its life in storage. Last year the family reportedly invested approximately $7,000 to return the car to top operating condition, including the installation of new brake lines, new tires and numerous other recommissioning items. Today the car presents exceptionally well. The paint retains excellent gloss and depth, while the chrome remains bright and attractive throughout. The color combination perfectly complements the classic lines of the TD and gives the car outstanding curb appeal. The interior is equally inviting, featuring firm seats, clean carpets and a well-presented dashboard.
