1952 MG TD that is an exceptionally attractive example and a recent show winner. Finished in elegant Sea Green with a black interior, this matching numbers MG was treated to an extensive frame-off restoration completed around 2022–2023 and today presents as one of the nicest drivers we have had. The restoration appears to have been comprehensive. The frame was refinished and coated, the body was repainted, the engine rebuilt, carburetors restored, interior replaced and a new convertible top installed. The result is an MG TD that captures the charm of early British motoring while presenting beautifully throughout. Paint is in excellent condition with deep shine and impressive finish quality. Chrome presents extremely well and complements the lines of the car perfectly. Interior is fresh, clean and inviting. Dashboard, seating and trim all present to a very high standard. Mechanically the car is in very good condition. Engine starts easily and runs with strong power. Transmission shifts smoothly and the car feels sorted and ready to be enjoyed. Underside is exceptionally clean and reflects the quality of the restoration. Side curtains are present and in good condition. Car comes with a thick file documenting parts purchases and restoration work as well as books and supporting material.
