1975 Triumph TR6 that is very presentable as it is. The car is in racing red with a black interior. It is a one owner car since new. It was purchased by the current owner in Dec 1974 when he was stationed at RAF Alconbury (UK). This is one of last TR6s that were built in 1974 without California emissions and delivered to Armed Forces members. The car driven and used regularly for 25 years and it was housed in military bases in UK, Florida, California, Ohio, Virginia, Georgia and Washington DC. The car underwent 3 major restorations. It was originally French Blue (code 126) from the factory. In the 1980s the car was repainted Pimento Red and in 2010 it was painted racing red. In the 1990s a reputed firm worked on the engine – the head was machined and polished, and the valves were upgraded to titanium (to run unleaded gas). The car still presents very well and drives excellent. Paint is almost perfect and interior is very nice. Underside is solid and clean. Convertible top is like new. Car comes with a spare wheel, jack, several manuals and many extra parts. Overall this is a very collectible and nice TR6 that will be a great addition to any collection. Price $18,950.
